Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival – Arusha

Day 3 - Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you go on a walking tour in the farming town Mto wa Mbu. This village is unique in Tanzania since it is home to over 120 different tribes from across Africa and forms a colorful mix of customs. Your walking guide will take you to rice and banana plantations, a local beer factory, a school, and a carving factory. Discover the traditional way of life of the villagers. Continue to Lake Manyara National Park, which is only a few minutes’ drive from Mto wa Mbu. Lake Manyara is known for its huge soda lake filled with pink-hued flamingos, a large population of baboons, incredible birdlife, and breathtaking views. You can see giraffes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, and flamingos, and if you are lucky you spot a tree-climbing lion. Post the game drive, you will head back to accommodation for relaxation and where a delicious dinner and overnight await you. Accommodation will be Octagon Lodge situated amidst colorful and exotic gardens and provides a perfect base for visiting the Northern Parks of Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti.

Day 4 - Serengeti National Park (Northern)
This morning you drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. On the way, you will stop at a Maasai village to get an insight into the lifestyle of these graceful warriors. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you first have a picnic lunch and then continue with a beautiful game drive. There is a big change you can see the Great Migration of wildebeest crossing the Mara River in this area of the Serengeti between June to September. The herds must outsmart the crocodiles and fast-flowing water before facing predators waiting on the other side. An amazing spectacle. Day 5 - Serengeti National Park (Northern)
Rise up early, so that you can depart your lodge for a full day moving with the herds across the plains exploring the Great Migration. Morning and afternoon game drives in North Serengeti national park with early departure looking for active predators and other wildlife. Sightings in the area include the pride of lions, leopards, cheetahs, crocodiles, hippos, elephants, giraffes, black rhinos, topis, hartebeests, and many more.
One of the best places to observe the wildebeest migration is the Mara River. The Mara River runs through Kenya and Tanzania and lies directly in the path of migration for multiple animals in the Masai Mara & Serengeti National Park. It is also a vital part of the river system that brings water to the region. All meals and overnight will be at the Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge, where a delectation of dining, rest, and, relaxation awaits us, and sleep upon the ‘Endless Plain’ as our mind’s eye roves over the sights and sounds of the day.

Day 8 - Ngorongoro Crater - Departure Day
After an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch and drive to Ngorongoro crater for a full day of game drive. You will wake up early morning, having your breakfast in the morning before starting to depart to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, the 600 m deep caldera will descend the crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq. km with a depth of over 2000 feet. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and has fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. The 5-6 hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. Since Ngorongoro Crater is compact you can have access to see different and many animals and birds in a short period of time. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs, and Lions are found in plenty, afternoon you will head out OF Crater to Arusha town to complete our tour, or you can be taken directly to the airport ready to catch your flight to the next destination.
